Where are you?
The Whitton Malt House is located 8km from Whitton and 20km from Darlington Point, with Leeton and Griffith the two largest, closest towns. Our address is 783A Whitton - Darlington Point Rd, Whitton and phone number 02 6955 2592 if you need any help with directions before you visit us.

Do we need to book tables for the restaurant?
Yes. We are often booked out well in advance for our restaurant lunch services which are Wednesday to Sunday (incl.) from 12noon - 2pm, as well as dinner which is only on Friday and Saturday nights from 6.30pm. We have tables inside and on the alfresco area, so please make sure you specify if you have a preference of where to sit when making your booking on line, or with us via phone - 6955 2592.

If we are staying in the villas, what are the food options?
Make the most of your time with us and make sure you book a table in the restaurant for a Friday or Saturday dinner - the menu is dynamic and packed with local, seasonal dishes. If it's booked out or closed for an event, then you are welcome to order some 'packs' within 48 hours prior to your arrival. Each villa has a BBQ on the verandah, so you can cook your own food, or reheat with the microwave in the villa. You are also most welcome to bring your own food.
The nearest town is Darlington Point that has a pub, an Italian restaurant - but please remember, we are 'remote' so make sure you have your dinner plans sorted prior to arrival.

Can we still come to visit if we don't have a restaurant booking?
Of course! You are most welcome to always come to visit - and there is no entry fee to the grounds, so you are able to enjoy a walk around the lake and enjoy some takeaway food from our café or lakeside bar (open on busy days) without a booking. There is also ample seating under the marquees and on the lawns - but no picnics allowed - we have food and drinks for sale here, so please don't BYO.

Do we need to book for other activities?
We recommend you book in for a Whisky Tasting - which is a 45minute guided tasting with one of our team at the Whisky Bar. These are $55pp and take place before and after the lunch rush - so we suggest booking in advance for this. For all of the other activities or tastings, you don't need to make a booking. You can arrive and decide to enjoy a beer or gin paddle, try a hit of aqua golf or cast your line and see if you can catch a fish. Our team can help you with all of these things when you arrive.

Can we bring dogs?
No sorry. We have had some incidents on site with dogs, so have made the rule that there are to be no dogs, or any pets, brought onto the site.
